Dear Friend of Ukraine:

Social Economy Alliance wants Inclusive Capitalism, excluding..

With a speech In 2009, the President of the UN General Assembly said this about the economy:

#PwC: Trilateral cooperation on corruption in Ukraine

On June 3, the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Administration reported on a new program to combat corruption with the help of experts at the international auditing and consulting company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

According to the press release, a trilateral memorandum of cooperation and coordination between the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast State Administration, the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, and PricewaterhouseCoopers was signed on May 29.

#InclusiveCapitalism: A letter from the #Ukraine trenches

In 2008, It was a call on USAID and the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations drawing their attention to the economic and social conditions in Ukraine and to gain support for a 'Marshall Plan' strategy in economic development. Joe Biden chaired the committee and Barack Obama was a member:

Mark Carney: Capitalism will destroy itself without ethics

Capitalism is at risk of destroying itself unless bankers realise they have an obligation to create a fairer society, the Bank of England governor has warned.

#TheRSA - What David Attenborough said about a finite planet

“Anyone who believes in indefinite growth on a physically finite planet is either mad, or an economist.”

It greets me every time I watch an RSA video.

David has been there for as long as I can remember and I remember as far back as my first proper book  - Benjamin the Zoo Quest Bear.

In 2010 our late founder presented his second paper on Economics for Ecology at a conference at Sumy State University, with this introduction.

Capitalism thrives by looking past the bottom line

This assertion made in the Financial Times by Lynne Forester de Rothschild, seems to have sparked a furious debate among readers.

It coincided with a major conference last week on Inclusive Capitalism, bringing the global financial elite flocking to London.

Re-Imagining Capitalism: The New Bottom Line is an article I wrote last year for MixMarket. Ironically a McKinsey supported initiative. but I'll come to that later.

Open Letter to the Lord Mayor of London

Dear Lord Mayor,

Writing recently on the matter of Inclusive Capitalism You have said:

"If too many people remain or become marginalised, they are less likely to be enfranchised, empowered and effective as workers and citizens, rendering them unable to make an economic contribution at best, and resulting in civil unrest at worst. Everything a firm does from the very top to the very bottom should demonstrate on a daily basis our desire to see a stronger, better evolution of capitalism. "

Does Henry Jackson know about the other Inclusive Capitalism?

It was Nafeez Ahmed's article in the Guardian this week that revealed who was behind the recent conference on Inclusive Capitalism in London.

As I reported recently, In 2009 the term was being used on Wikipedia to describe our social business activities

The Henry Jackson society, a right wing think tank see a risk of global riots due to rising inequality.

I knew a man who fought fascists

As I write, efforts to decry Ukrainian self determination as a fascist putsch continue. Heroic slogans of armchair activism.

Ironically, we seem to have missed the rising tide of nationalism through the ballot box of EU elections.

In the picture below taken at Caen in 2004, the young paratrooper is saying. "You were a conscript, but you did what had to be done anyway".
